We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Privacy to join the Global Privacy Office team. This role can be based in Manchester or London.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Support the Chief Privacy Officer and Global Privacy Office Directors to operationalize the Bank’s data privacy strategy and management framework.
* Provide privacy subject matter expert (SME) support to the business to help them fulfill their regulatory and organizational requirements to protect personal information and uphold the privacy rights of clients and employees, while enabling innovation.
* Design, develop, enhance, and operationalize enterprise-level data privacy policies, procedures, processes, and controls. Key focus areas include privacy impact assessments and regulatory change implementation.
* Support the deployment of data privacy management technology and tools (automation) to enhance data privacy controls.
* Work with key stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, business, technology) to implement regulatory compliance initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
* Bachelor’s or advanced degree (JD or MBA) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience in a data privacy role.
* Understanding of key data privacy laws in EMEA and APAC (e.g., GDPR, PECR, PIPL, DPDPA).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements.
* Team player with an open and collaborative approach to delivering outcomes.
* Financial services industry experience, data privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT), and/or global privacy program experience.
