Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes.
* Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment.
* Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
* Observe children’s interests and collaborate with other teachers to develop creative, engaging curriculum ideas.
* Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
* Engage with other childcare professionals and continue professional growth.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
* 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
* Successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
* Effectively develops relationships and communicates with children, parents, and faculty members.
* Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multitasking to ensure smooth operations.
* Must lift up to 50 lbs. when handling children, including proper lifting of infants into and out of cribs for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers.
* Meets background check eligibility requirements.
