Health and Safety Regulatory Junior Associate Solicitor - Up to £50,000 salary + Bonus - REF 866871AL
A top International law firm within a leading insurance group is seeking a Junior Associate to join its nationally recognised Health and Safety Regulatory team in Birmingham.
Ranked by Legal 500 and Chambers, the team advises businesses and professionals on fast-moving, sensitive and high-profile matters, with full training on internal practices and strong partner support.
You’ll handle a varied caseload representing clients subject to investigations and prosecutions relating to Health & Safety, Food safety, Fire safety, Motor Prosecutions and Environmental crime and who wish to pursue a career in Regulatory crime.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with 0-2 years’ post qualification experience
* Previous experience of Health & safety, environmental crime, motor crime or fire safety
* Excellent client care and communication skills, with the empathy to support distressed clients on sensitive issues
* Well organised, structured and calm under pressure; able to meet competing deadlines
* Familiarity with legal expenses and liability insurance funding models and insurer relationships
* High attention to detail, sound case management and a collaborative, positive approach
* Must hold Full UK driving licence
