Position:
We are looking for an area manager whose main responsabilities will be:
* ·Achieving the objectives of your area in terms of sales, profitability and product mix.
* Carry out direct sales activities with customers in accordance with agreed strategies.
* Research and expand area customer base.
* Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain and develop relationships
* Agree promotional activity where necessary to ensure targets are achieved.
* Gather market intelligence to ensure that the Dayco offer remains competitive.
* Monitor area turnover and implement strategies to ensure growth targets are achieved.
* Maintain market information to ensure the competitiveness of Dayco offer
Requirements:
* Previous background in the motor industry or other customer service environment.
* A successful track record in the ability to prioritise work loads, multi task, work without supervision.
* An understanding of commercial aspects, including budget control, revenue generating and maximising efficiency.
* IT literate with a good understanding of MS applications.
* The ability to understand technical aspects of a vehicle engine.
* Previous experience within UK Automotive Aftermarket
* The ability to communicate at all levels of business.
* Able to work independently but also within a UK team.
