Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with special educational needs (SEN) Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN in various subjects Helping students with personal care needs, if required Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff members to address the specific needs of SEN students Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Experience working with students with special educational needs Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures related to SEN Education: Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with SEN students Preferred Qualifications: SEN-specific training or certification First aid certification Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school environment with students with special educational needs.
