We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from February half term until the end of the academic year.
This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching English and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
* Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
* Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and enthusiasm.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Attend staff meetings and training sessions to remain current on educational practices and developments.
* Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience as an English Teacher
* Up to date knowledge of the GCSE English Language and English Literature curriculum.
* Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and teaching standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive teaching environment.
