The Company

allmanhall are established in the Care sector and NACC Premier Partners, and we are looking for a full-time Development Manager to lead our Care sales and continue to support growth in this rewarding and important sector.

The Role

The Development Manager will play a vital role in growing and further positioning allmanhall as the leading food procurement provider in the Care sector. You will take ownership and manage a sales pipeline across the UK, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract signature to close the deal, then handing over to the mobilisation team.

Working closely with the Directors, the Senior Management Team, buyers, marketing and other key colleagues, you will drive sales growth by managing opportunities, leading client presentations, supporting the creation of content and campaigns to aid sales, and attending industry events and conferences.

Main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

* Generation of leads through proactive prospecting and following up incoming leads
* Listening to prospect needs and scoping a solution for them, determining if they are in or out of scope for allmanhall
* Managing sales activity and pipeline to achieve targets and conversion rates
* Leading the full sales process and collaborating with the wider team to deliver insightful proposals and presentations
* Representing allmanhall at industry events and promoting our solutions and USPs
* Keeping Salesforce up to date with accurate and timely information to support reporting and forecasts
* Finalising contractual terms in collaboration with Directors to close deals
* Extensive presentation activity – to prospects, at events and internally to SMT and directors
* Keeping an eye on what is going on in the Care sector and honing our offer with the marketing team and SMT
* Ensuring a smooth handover of new clients to the mobilisation team
* Communicating developments internally to ensure collaboration, learnings, improvements and shared success


The Candidate


Essential Requirements

* Proven record of closing sales deals and meeting targets
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Excellent at relationship building and networking
* Proactive and results-driven with strong organisational skills
* Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce
* Ability to work independently and also as part of a collaborative team
* Full UK driving licence and access to private transport to attend sales meetings
* An understanding of the Care sector
* Experience in foodservice, procurement, or catering industries
* Knowledge of sustainability practices or client service delivery
* Experience of working with contracts and business terms


The Contract

Hours: Full-time, permanent: 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:15 (with an early finish on Friday at 16:15). Would consider part-time.

Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum FTE plus monthly car allowance and significant commission and bonus opportunities.

Work location: Working from the Head Office – SN13 0NY, approximately once a week initially. Working from home or with clients “in the field” for the majority of the time.
