Shift Duration: 4 on 2off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off – include weekends
Number of drops: up to 20 drops per day – within Allington’s radius
We’re hiring HGV Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our client's busy delivery team!
FTS Recruitment are looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for our customer based in Allington. This is an excellent opportunity to join our client's professional transport team.
You’ll be delivering furniture to people's house safely and on time to customers, ensuring care and professionalism and installing them.
What You’ll Do
* Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver furniture to customer houses across Allington. Some installations required / fitting feet, attaching doors and rubbish removal
* Load/unload furniture safely, as part of a 2 man crew
* Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults
* Follow all driving law, company procedures and health and safety regulations
Skills and Requirements
* Valid UK category C (Class 2) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum age of 21
* Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
* Must be able to work weekends as part of the compulsory rota
* Good knowledge of UK roads and regulations
* Reliable, professional, punctual and safety-conscious
* Strong communications skills for customer interaction
* Previous Class 2 experience preferred – new passes welcome
* Own transport to get to site
