We’re expanding our team at our Brighton Branch and are looking for a dependable Tool Hire/Fitter Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers. The Role We have a vacancy for a full time Tool Hire Driver Fitter in our Brighton branch. As a member of our Tool Hire Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of products to customers, with key accountability for ensuring the quality and timing of service is first class. All this under the authority of the Tool Hire Branch Manager. The Requirements Builders merchant experience advantageous A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification (or time served) Experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools servicing and maintenance Proven ability to test and run electrical tools Current PAT testing certificate A full valid driving licence is required Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels Self-motivated with a can-do attitude Strong team player who works as part of a team and independently Hours Week 1: Monday - Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm Week 2: Monday - Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm & Saturday 08:00 to 12:00pm Specific Experience & Skills Required Builders merchant experience (Desirable) Knowledge of Tool Hire (Desirable) A full valid driving licence is required Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels Self-motivated with a can-do attitude Strong team player who works as part of a team and independently The Rewards What we Offer At IBMG, we value our employees and offer a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
