In this electrical biased role, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled maintenance team based at our facility in Solihull.
You’ll get to deliver on excellence by providing engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment. Our manufacturing technologies include automated equipment comprising robots, automated welding and joining equipment, laser joining systems, automated conveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting equipment.

WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, no two tasks are the same. Here’s what to expect day to day:
* Experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with at least Ladder Logic understanding
* Carry out electrical maintenance (e.g., termination of industrial connectors and power sockets)
* Fault diagnosis of various motor types
* Programming robot positions and editing the robot program
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
* A recognized advanced apprenticeship or equivalent (e.g., Modern Apprenticeship, Craft Apprenticeship, IMI certificated Advanced Apprenticeship) in electrical engineering, electrical maintenance, or a relevant subject
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance role in manufacturing
* Technical mechanical and electrical automotive engineering skills gained in manufacturing
* Knowledge of PLC, electrical control, and mechanical systems
* You must have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship, as this role is not eligible for sponsorship.
