We're looking for engaging people with good problem-solving skills that can deliver excellent service that our guests will love. Previous hotel reception experience is a must, & ideally you will be someone comfortable multi-tasking their way through a busy shift, dealing with an array of different guest needs & wants.

Our guests stay 7 days a week so we need someone who is available to work a variety of shifts which may include the odd overnight shift (to cover holidays, sickness etc).

As a Hotel Receptionist, your main role will be:

· Delivering excellent customer service to our 138 bedrooms-worth of guests

· Manage all requests we get from guests in a helpful & professional manner

· Contribute fairly to the teams workload on each shift to ensure seamless service for each guest

The ideal candidate will have:

· Previous hotel reception experience in a hotel environment using Opera CLOUD

· Excellent problem solving & multi-tasking skills

· Confidence, professionalism and an engaging personality

· Exceptional attention to detail & a passion for the industry

About the Hotel

Located in the heart of the Black Country, the Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill–Dudley sits peacefully overlooking the picturesque Canal Marina. The hotel offers 138 modern guest rooms that combine Standard, Club and Suite accommodation. Guests staying in Suites or Club rooms can enjoy 'club benefits' which include complimentary refreshments, a bathrobe, slippers, early check-in and late check-out.

Faraday's Restaurant is a modern and relaxed place to dine with a backdrop of the beautiful Canal Marina.

The hotel provides 11 function rooms that cater for a variety of layouts such as boardroom, theatre, banquet and reception. The Earls Suite can cater for up to 600 guests and comes complete with a private entrance, reception, bar and cloakroom. All rooms feature audio-visual equipment and have Wi-Fi connectivity.
