Purpose and objectives of the role
Working in a team on the day, to assist management and supervisors, in order to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Main duties and responsibilities are subject to shift patterns:
· Event Set-up – including polishing cutlery and glassware, laying up tables and bar preparation.
· Welcoming guests and working as ushers
· Offering drinks and canapés to guests
· Serving food and clearing plates
· Tending on the bar in the evening
· Working cash registers/tills
· Event Set-down – including closing down the bar, careful packaging of event décor, and preparation for the next event.
· Assisting the manager and/or supervisor in any event specific requirements
· Working as a team to ensure guest satisfaction
· Any other duties reasonably requested.
Special Requirements
* As the majority of our events are weddings, the right candidate must have the strong understanding that we assist each couple in making their day the best it can be.
* The physically ability to lift and move furniture as a team
* Previous bar and waiting experience preferred
* Full UK Driving License preferred but not necessary

Applicants must be over the age of 18.
Shifts include a mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
