Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a CNC Setter Operator based in Redruth. The CNC Setter Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, performing machining tasks, and conducting quality checks. The role includes preparing and maintaining machinery for production, adhering to safety and technical standards, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
* Experience in CNC machine operation, including multi-axis lathes and 3- and 5-axis CNC machining centres.
* Experience with Fanuc-based controls would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of quality control procedures and precision measurement techniques.
* Familiarity with machining, milling, turning, and associated technical processes.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is desirable.
