Job Description

Caseloads are varied but manageable, allowing you to focus on achieving the right outcomes for victims of crime. You will investigate serious and complex crimes, handle high-profile cases, and assist vulnerable people in our society. If you are an expert in crime investigation and enjoy working in close-knit teams, you can make a real difference.

Preferred Qualifications
* Training in suspect interviewing, SCADIP, Financial Investigation, DMI (Digital Media Investigators) is especially desirable.
Internal Qualifications and Transfer Details
* You must be a substantive officer at your current rank.
* You should have completed your probation and be an accredited detective (PIP2 qualified or hold a valid NIE Pass and be working towards PIP2).
* No need to submit qualifications; upload proof of rank instead.
Application and Start Dates
We have start dates throughout the year. Successful applicants will begin with departmental training, including ICT and personal safety courses.
Additional Information
Appointment depends on passing vetting and medical checks, which may include drugs and fitness tests. We uphold high standards of conduct and accountability.
