The role BNP Paribas Real Estate is seeking a new Head of Supplier Risk Management, to lead the supplier risk management activity for BNP Paribas Real Estate UK and Property management. The role will report to the Head of Procurement working closely with the Head of Sourcing and the senior operations director from the Property management division. The role will have 2 direct reports. Responsibilities As the Head of supplier risk management you will work with the head of procurement setting and leading the overall approach to managing supply chain risk. You must be able to interpret group procedures and policies and to translate these into processes that minimise the impact on operational teams, but ensures compliance against group obligations. The role must illustrate experience and knowledge to give the executive teams the confidence and assurance to support the initiatives. The role requires the management of the supplier onboarding process (approximately 400 suppliers per annum) and management of approximately 2700 supplier records using the current supplier database - Proactis. The system requires development to ensure that the supplier records have the correct data integrity and can be used as the source of data for all compliance reporting. Understanding and interpretation of group procedures related to know your supplier and risk management and the ability to apply the principles based on the various supplier relationship BNP Paribas UK and property management maintain is essential (client paid, client nominated, sponsorships, outsourcing). The role must illustrate and comprehensive understanding of the live supply chain risks and develop the ability, working with the head of procurement, to extract reports from the system to provide group reporting. As head of supplier risk management you will engage with Stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, coaching and supporting them with the adoption of the supplier risk processes. The role will require an ability to listen to operational challenges to align processes to ensure compliance, but recognising the commercial environment of the real estate industries. Flexibility to adapt and target key areas of risk, working on specific projects as required. Person specification Qualifications/Key Skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or industry-relevant equivalent Proven experience in a senior leadership role In-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments of a company, including Risk Excellent leadership and organisational skills Experience Ability to interact & influence at senior stakeholder level Knowledge of know your supplier and supplier risk procedures and an ability to interpret and translate them to provide operational guidance and adoption.
