Video Editor – THG Studios
Reporting to
Director of Content & Post‑Production
About You
You’ll be an experienced Video Editor with a minimum of 3 years of experience. You’ll be comfortable working across a range of formats – from longer‑form social campaigns and brand videos to short paid adverts – and be able to transform designed assets into engaging edits. Your agility and speed will support tight turnarounds while maintaining high quality. You’ll collaborate with creatives from ideation to completion and provide constructive feedback.
Main Activities and Tasks
* Craft engaging stories through creative and collaborative video editing.
* Deliver post‑production video editing for all platforms (TV, events, social media), utilizing specialist programs and equipment for a wide range of jobs.
* Collaborate with the internal team to create dynamic video solutions.
* Work with the Video Production coordinator, Producers, and Project Managers to plan your time to ensure deadlines are met.
* Provide creative support to colleagues.
* Maintain positive internal and external client relationships.
* Adhere to internal processes, objectives, and hit KPIs.

Requirements
* Team player with a hands‑on approach and strong work ethic.
* 3+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
* Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional creativity, innovation, and technical ability.
* Strong understanding of post‑production processes and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition) essential; knowledge of Da‑Vinci Resolve desirable.
* Track record of delivering video content for aspirational brands.
* Infuse all creative decisions with storytelling purpose and practical solutions.
* Strong communicator who can tailor approaches to creative and analytical mindsets.
* Ability to make rational decisions and exercise THG Studios BMP with integrity and accountability, in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
* Experience working in a team with multiple stakeholders.
* Must respond positively to criticism.
* Handle multiple projects and deadlines with clear communication.
* Stay up‑to‑date on current trends, editing techniques, and platforms.
* Experience delivering content under tight deadlines, including occasional late night and weekend work.
* Provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
