Contract type: Permanent (subject to continued Gov funding — 3 year funding approved with yearly review points March 31st)

Hours: Full time

Location: Remote-first, with regular in-person collaboration days in Brighton

Reports to: Founder Director

Responsible for: Marketing, learner recruitment, and employer partnerships strategy

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative and driven Marketing and Learner Recruitment Lead to help us reach and recruit the next wave of tech talent — and grow our network of employer partners. This role will lead our learner marketing and outreach campaigns (B2C), while also supporting employer engagement and event marketing (B2B). You’ll work closely with our Director and Head of Skills to shape how we communicate, recruit and grow.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role ideal for someone who thrives on seeing results, enjoys telling meaningful stories, and is excited to build something from the ground up. You’ll help design learner journeys, build partnerships with local organisations, and connect with employers who can offer interviews, mentoring or job roles.

You’ll also play a key role in preparing for growth — helping shape a future team, testing new channels, and using campaign data to refine our approach as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

●Design and deliver campaigns to attract learners across all Bootcamp strands

●Create inspiring, inclusive content for web, email, social and press

●Build partnerships with outreach organisations, universities, job boards and online communities

●Track conversion rates from application through to enrolment, and adjust tactics accordingly

●Deliver open events, taster sessions and onboarding communications

B2B – Employer Partnerships Support

●Create employer-facing content and email campaigns to engage employers to commission training places for their staff through funded Skills Bootcamps

●Support the Head of Skills to develop employer leads for guaranteed interview routes

●Promote employer involvement in panels, mentoring, events and showcases

●Track employer engagement outcomes and employer acquisition KPIs

Strategic Marketing & Brand

●Own the marketing calendar across learner and employer audiences

●Shape our tone of voice and core messaging with support from the Director

●Use analytics tools to report on marketing performance and cost per acquisition

●Contribute to brand evolution as TechNative scales nationally

Person Profile

We’re looking for someone who is:

●Strategic and creative — able to think long-term and act fast

●Curious about digital tools, storytelling, and inclusive marketing

●Driven by results and motivated by mission

●Confident with data and willing to test and iterate to improve performance

●A clear communicator, comfortable with multiple stakeholders and learners

Experience Required

●Proven experience in marketing, recruitment, communications or outreach roles

●Experience designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns

●Ability to use campaign and website data to generate insights and improve performance

●Familiarity with inclusive messaging and audience segmentation

●Strong written skills and content creation ability

●Collaborative approach and ability to work in a small, fast-moving team

●Experience in a bootcamp, further education, skills or training organisation

●Experience managing PPC, email marketing or CRM tools

●Employer engagement or partnerships experience

●Design or video editing skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe, CapCut)

●Remote-first team with regular collaboration days in Brighton
