About the Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Restaurants Department in Skegness! Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running our kitchen and leading a fantastic team of talented chefs.
In this dynamic position, you will:
* Support the Kitchen Manager and step up in their absence.
* Passionately monitor guest experiences and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
* Exhibit strong leadership skills to nurture and grow your team through daily briefings.
* Manage stock control and ensure the presentation of food meets our high standards.
* Contribute to financial performance by delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning.
* Uphold food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
* Inspire your team to embody Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans are in place.

About You
We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals with experience in a similar role. If you are:
* Hardworking and determined, with a knack for getting things done.
* Energetic, high-spirited, and fun-loving, ready to add value to the guest experience.
* Confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Qualified with a Level 3 Food Safety certification.
* Skilled in managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene compliance.

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours. Flexibility is key, as some shifts may extend late into the night, including 4am finishes. A bonus scheme is also available!
