I am looking for an experienced industrial designer/3D modeler to design the outer enclosure for a new MagSafe power bank. The goal is to create a sleek, functional, and manufacturable housing that meets modern aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a detailed 3D model (STEP/STL/IGS) of the power bank enclosure.
- Ensure precise dimensions for MagSafe magnet alignment and USB-C port placement.
- Design for manufacturability (DFM), specifically for plastic injection molding or CNC aluminum.
- Provide high-quality 3D renders for internal review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in consumer electronics design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino).
- Understanding of MagSafe technical specifications and tolerances.
- Strong portfolio of previous enclosure/housing designs.
