Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate Building Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Design team. Based in Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional design and professional services across various sectors for both public and private clients.

Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham
Hours:
37.5 hours per week – with some flexibility available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!
Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits

Your Responsibilities
As a Building Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our Architecture & Building Consultancy team, providing a range of building surveying services. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Conducting surveys of existing buildings and sites, and developing feasibility studies.
* Designing and specifying solutions for maintenance, repair, refurbishment, remodelling, restoration, extension, or demolition works.
* Supporting clients in procuring contractors for various projects.
* Project managing the delivery of solutions, including the administration of construction contracts.
* Performing quality assurance checks on colleagues' work and assisting in larger-scale building surveying services.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to support business development and gather feedback.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a Degree level qualification (minimum HNC/HND) in a relevant discipline or a RICS accredited qualification suitable for the sector pathway for building surveying.
* Are working towards Chartered status through full membership of RICS or CIOB.
* Possess a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in building surveying across various building types and sectors.
* Have familiarity with procurement processes and experience in contract administration.
