HGV Class 1 Driver – Wakefield
Location: WakefieldPay Rates:
1. Day Shifts (Mon-Fri): £15.50 – £17.37 per hour
2. Night Shifts (Mon-Fri): £16.50 – £18.50 per hour
3. Weekend Shifts: £23.50 per hour
About the Job:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing temporary work in Wakefield.
There are a variety of shifts available to suit you!
This role includes:
4. Driving Class 1 curtain side lorries
5. Working around client schedules and requirements
6. Transporting a variety of goods
7. RDC to RDC trunking work
8. Minimal handball involved
9. Shifts available across days, nights, and weekends
Requirements:
To be eligible, you’ll need:
10. A full UK C+E licence (Class 1)
11. At least 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
12. Excellent driving skills and safety awareness
13. No more than 6 points on your licence
14. No previous disqualifications
15. A good understanding of Driver’s Hours and WTD regulations
