Responsibilities:
This role is a Full-Time role ideally based in the North West of England, covering areas such as Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool. This role is primarily supporting the Centre of Excellence for Retail & Hospitality business delivering and undertaking unaccredited audits to Retail & Hospitality "own brand" standards across the UK and Ireland with a specific emphasis on auditing within the retail and hospitality sectors. You will deliver high-quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner. Through providing effective management, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing professional support to the CMMA and BST teams
2. Completing environmental audits (food safety, health and safety, and fire safety audits) in accordance with legal and client-driven requirements
3. To be fully utilized and cost-efficient
4. To complete audit reports immediately after the audit and at the latest [number] hours after the site visit
5. Complete accident investigations as requested by the BST team or H&S Assessor Manager
6. To keep colleagues apprised of industry developments
7. Undertaking Duty Consultancy
8. Strategic Management support for Clients as required
9. Review of documents including FSMS, H&S & Training Policies
10. Shadow and Witness Audits of Auditors where technical support is given
11. To maintain CPD and take on additional training as required
12. Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business
Essential criteria:
Must be qualified as Environmental Health preferably registered with EHORB
