The Amberwood is located in Walkford, a quality residential area on the outskirts of Christchurch and Highclifffe in the desirable county of Dorset. The pub is in a busy area on the edge of the New Forest and within a couple of miles of many popular beaches and holiday parks so driving a high number of tourists which boosts the all year round population. The location is easily accessible being within easy reach of the A35 and walking distance of Hinton Admiral train station. The Amberwood has always attracted an elderly food trade with a younger and more vibrant local drinking trade in the evenings.
