We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and vibrant primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on children’s learning and development. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant:
* Support the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide individual and small group support to pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Assist with classroom management, organisation and preparation of resources.
* Encourage positive behaviour and foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
* Support children with varying needs, including those with SEN, ensuring all pupils are able to access the curriculum.
* Contribute to school activities, trips and enrichment opportunities.
Ideal Year 3 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A patient, caring and proactive approach.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, childcare or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
