Overview
This role is covering Restart 2B for Yorkshire/Nottingham on the Supply Chain. Ideally you will be local to the areas but will consider applications if you are comfortable travelling each month around 2‑3 times if you don’t live local.

Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Manager will report to the Supply Chain Director and play a key role in the delivery of the Restart contract, managing the outputs and performance of our supply chain partners, the success of whom will be critical to the programme meeting contractual requirements. The role will be directly accountable for leading a network of supply chain partners responsible for delivering circa 50% of the overall contract value (circa £20‑25m per annum) and for ensuring the Supply Chain’s adherence to all Customer Service Standards, exceeding customer satisfaction measures and delivery of social value commitments.
* Direct contractual line management of all end‑to‑end Restart sub‑contractors in all aspects of service delivery, including achieving minimum performance levels, adherence to Customer Service Standard, ensuring service quality meets required standards, integration and enhancement of the CPA employer engagement strategy, integration and enhancement of the CPA community partnership strategy, delivery of all social value contracted commitments, development of a positive and engaging culture across all supply chain partners, fostering and nurturing a collaborative approach to working together, supporting/coaching under‑performing supply chain partners, undertaking a systematic management approach of the supply chain against all delivery metrics, escalation management, utilising contractual levers to manage out any sustained poor performing supply chain partners, formalised communication process for the supply chain partners to give regular updates across performance, systems, commissioner updates, etc., undertaking formal and informal observations of delivery, completion of desk‑based file monitoring requirements, support, maintenance and updates of continuous improvement plans, regular assurance of the supply chain’s financial surety, and developing and executing contingencies to replace under‑performing sub‑contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
* 2+ years direct operational experience in a large or multi‑contract service environment
* Proven track record of successful supply chain operations management
* Demonstrable experience of positively engaging with key stakeholders
* Ability to travel freely and extensively across the CPA and beyond
* Experience of delivering against continuous improvement strategies
* Strong conflict manager with successful completion
* Strong strategic and operational problem solving skills
* Preferably CIPS qualified

Salary
* Non‑London: £46,000‑£55,000pa
* London: £53,000‑£59,000pa
