Job Overview
UHE UK delivers extended degree courses (three years plus a foundation year) awarded in partnership with University of Roehampton. The Programme Leader provides academic and operational leadership for the Roehampton‑franchised Business programmes delivered at the Greenwich Campus, ensuring high academic standards, quality assurance and an excellent student experience in alignment with Roehampton regulations, UHE Operations Manual and Oxford International policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Leadership
* Lead and coordinate the delivery of Roehampton‑franchised programmes at the campus, ensuring alignment with approved curriculum and learning outcomes.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the programme team, fostering a consistent and high‑quality teaching and learning environment.
* Coordinate programme‑level meetings, student feedback discussions, and internal communications related to the programme.
* Ensure effective academic timetabling, resource planning, and delivery of teaching and assessment in collaboration with the Campus Manager.
Academic Quality and Assurance
* Ensure that assessments, moderation, and marking comply with Roehampton University’s regulations and the UHE Operations Manual.
* Liaise with the Link Tutor to manage assessment schedules, moderation samples, and examination board preparations.
* Oversee completion of programme‑level documentation including annual monitoring reports and Student Education Improvement Plans (SEIPs).
* Ensure academic and operational compliance with both Oxford International and Roehampton policies, procedures, and key quality indicators (KQIs).
Student Experience and Support
* Promote student engagement and progression through proactive communication and academic guidance.
* Identify and support students at risk of academic underperformance or disengagement, coordinating with Student Support and academic staff.
* Facilitate student feedback collection (module evaluations, end‑of‑year surveys) and ensure follow‑up actions are implemented.
* Support induction, orientation, and transition activities for new and continuing students.
Collaboration and Liaison
* Act as the primary academic liaison between Oxford International and Roehampton for the programme.
* Work collaboratively with Module Link Tutors and Faculty administrators to ensure accurate and timely communication.
* Contribute to Roehampton and partner programme boards, quality meetings, and academic reviews as required.
* Maintain oversight of programme documentation, Moodle pages, and communications to ensure accuracy and currency.
Administration and Reporting
* Oversee programme‑level records including assessment tracking, board outcomes, and academic correspondence.
* Ensure timely submission of marks, moderation records, and student data to Roehampton systems via the Programme Administrator.
* Support internal and external audits, reviews, and academic reporting cycles.
Person Specification
Statutory Requirements
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
* Appropriate DBS disclosure.
Qualifications
* Administrative qualification.
* Certified IT skills.
* First Aid or Mental Health First Aid training.
Experience and Knowledge
* Experience in teaching or academic administration within higher education.
* Proven experience in programme or module leadership, or equivalent academic coordination role.
* Experience of assessment management, moderation, and academic quality processes.
* Familiarity with UK HE quality frameworks and partnership or franchise models.
* Experience working in a franchise or collaborative provision with a UK university.
* Knowledge of Roehampton University’s academic regulations, Moodle, and quality procedures.

* Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to liaise confidently with students, academic staff, and external partners.
