Salary: £36,000 + annual bonus

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 16:30 and early finish on Friday at 13:00

Overview
We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical fitter to work for a dynamic and growing company manufacturing fluid systems. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for mechanical fitting of bespoke fluid systems, hoses and valves.
The candidate should have training in fabrication and preferably experience in bending copper or steel pipes.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit fluid systems, hoses, valves and pressure regulators to specifications
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, verniers and micrometers
- Utilise hand tools as needed
- Interpret technical drawings
- Perform pipe bending
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of measuring tools and the ability to use them effectively
- Previous experience in precision mechanical fitting or assembly environments
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Pipe bending experience is desirable; full training will be provided if required
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Experience working to precise tolerances using tools such as micrometers and calipers
