An established, forward-thinking law practice in the heart of Brighton is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its expanding team. This modern and dynamic firm is renowned across the Southeast for delivering high-quality legal services with a personal touch. The role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment, ideal for someone with around 2 years PQE in commercial property.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle a high-quality and varied caseload including commercial freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
* Manage landlord and tenant matters such as leases, renewals, assignments, licences, variations, and rent reviews.
* Conduct refinancing and secured lending transactions.
* Oversee property development matters and site assembly.
* Support senior lawyers and partners on more complex transactions.
* Manage your own files with an appropriate balance of autonomy and supervision, ensuring efficient and effective client service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Around 2 years PQE in commercial property or comparable experience.
* Confidence in managing your own files and building client relationships.
* Demonstrated commercial awareness and a proactive working style.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a friendly and modern team environment.
* A commitment to professional development and progression.
