What we are looking for:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our growing EMEA media planning team. As Senior Media Manager, you will help lead the planning and strategy team, provide guidance to other planners, and ensure quality and consistency of planning and reporting. You will have a strong interest in the B2B media space and use insights to guide clients on best practice and media strategy that reflects their infrastructure, challenges and goals. You will actively build client plans that can be shared with the team, demonstrating deep expertise in achieving client KPIs and proactively utilising new techniques. What you will do
* Support media-focused pitches and RFPs
* Input into opportunities to grow accounts, e.g., preparation for client Quarterly Review meetings or generating new ideas for clients
* Proactively input into your client’s media briefs
* Streamline and improve brief intake processes to enable stronger planning and strategy construction
* Address common cross-client pain points with effective cross-channel strategies
* Make client recommendations to drive strategic discussions around short, mid & long-term performance
* Support cross-client campaign planning and strategy, addressing pain points and moving planning toward a solution-oriented approach
* Ensure plans and strategy reflect client infrastructure (e.g., tech stack, BDR setup)
* Develop strategies and plans that can be implemented across multiple clients
* Share best practices to drive value in the wider team
* Manage publisher relationships to identify strategic partnership opportunities for clients
* Understand TMP media purchasing trends and engage publishers accordingly
* Share publisher insights with the wider business
* Leverage agency relationships to secure discounts and value for clients
Commercials / financial management:
* Support the team to deliver profitable plans while achieving or exceeding client KPIs
* Find ways to improve commercial efficiency and profitability in the planning process
Reporting:
* Incorporate trends and publisher/market developments into reporting insights
Insight:
* Digest trends to turn them into viable plans and effective strategies
Mentorship and line management:
* Delegate tasks to junior team members
* Provide feedback, coaching and mentorship in delivery of work
* Support onboarding and training of new hires
* Where appropriate, line manage junior members of the team

Requirements

What you will need:
* Several years of demonstrable B2B media buying experience (online and offline)
* Agency or client-side media buying experience
* Experience developing marketing and communications strategies for B2B brands using a wide range of tactics
* Ability to advise senior-level clients on strategic direction and its impact on business outcomes
* Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across companies, cultures, and countries
* Strong communication skills for selling ideas and strategies to clients
* Clear and concise written communication
* Strong understanding of the role of media in delivering business value for B2B brands
* Strong working knowledge of insight and planning tools to bring insights into strategies
* Strong understanding of the B2B media space
