As a Bank Registered Mental Health Nurse at Dorking, you will be working within a multidisciplinary team. Being a Bank Mental Health Nurse offers flexibility to work day and night shifts.
You will assist and support staff in ward management and contribute to high-quality patient care.
You will be supported to follow an identified career development pathway and complete a competency development portfolio. Support will include Peer Review, Clinical Supervision, Mentorship, and Appraisal.
Our RMN role involves:
* Providing high standards of care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders
* Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement
* Adhering to all codes of conduct, standards, legislation, respecting rights, and promoting ethical practice
* Contributing to patient assessments, care planning, and monitoring progress
* At senior levels, leading shifts and mentoring/supporting student nurses and team members
To succeed, you should be committed to Personal Learning and Development, Evidence and Values-Based Practice, and Patient-Centered Care. Excellent teamwork, self-motivation, and flexibility are essential.
