Support Practitioner
We are recruiting a caring and creative Support Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis, providing 1:1 support to a young lady with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and limited mobility.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner you will support all aspects of daily living, including cooking, housework, personal care, finances, medication and encouraging her interests and hobbies. The role offers a varied daily schedule in a sleep‑over service working a 9 am to 9 am shift the next day.
About You
We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don’t need experience or qualifications to start – our Training Academy will give you all the skills you need and the opportunity to complete an SVQ.
Key Qualities
* Great listening and communication skills.
* Caring attitude and approach.
* Positive approach to learning.
* Able to follow guidelines.
* Full UK manual driving licence (minimum 1 year experience).
* Confidence in using technology.
Shift Pattern
The service operates as a sleep‑over role. You will start your shift at 9 am and finish at 9 am the next day.

Additional Information
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and undertake training toward an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare. You will also need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting. If you have spent more than 12 months outside the UK in the last 10 years, you may need to provide a criminal record certificate.
