Quality Technician
Sittingbourne
£25k - £28k DOE
Monday – Friday
My client is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team where you you’ll be responsible for checking, analysing, and reporting on quality inspections to ensure products meet the highest standards before they leave the factory. You’ll work closely with suppliers, colleagues, and international offices to resolve issues quickly and prevent them from recurring.
Duties include:
1. Review and analyse PSI reports, ensuring actions are completed within 24 hours
2. Update the system with inspection results, product weights, and dimensions
3. Coordinate PSI bookings with factories and follow up to meet deadlines
4. Issue factory debit notes and ensure CAP (Corrective Action Plans) are completed on time
5. Produce and send quality reports with solutions to improve future production
6. Authorise goods for shipment from a QC perspective
7. Liaise with international teams and factories to resolve issues
8. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) reviews with feedback on quality concerns
9. Provide rework instructions to warehouses when needed
10. Prepare weekly quality performance reports for the Head of Quality Control & Compliance
The successful Quality Technician will have / be:
11. Previous experience as a quality technician within a manufacturing facility.
12. Able to keep up in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
13. Strong attention to detail skills.
14. Able to read and write reports.
