We are looking for a confident and compassionate Cover Supervisor to work full-time in a specialist learning centre in Weymouth, supporting students aged 11 to 17 with Special Educational Needs. This is an immediate start role for someone who thrives in a structured yet nurturing environment. This specialist provision is recognised for its relationship-led approach, strong pastoral care, and commitment to helping young people succeed beyond the classroom. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, consistent environment where students feel safe, understood, and supported. Students present with a range of needs, including: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Attachment and behavioural needs Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties The Role Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain classroom routines Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation Encourage engagement and participation in learning Build strong, trusting relationships with students What We’re Looking For Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children or young people with SEN Confident managing behaviour in a specialist setting Calm, resilient, and approachable manner A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
