Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our UK Digital & Cloud Practice. Our Digital Practice is expanding rapidly and there will be opportunities to achieve medium and long-term career goals. You will work on challenging, large-scale transformational and migration projects within both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, technical architects, UX/UI designers, and other team members to understand business requirements and drive the design and development of our digital products.
* Ensure code meets requirements and aligns with architectural and front-end coding standards and patterns.
* Optimise applications for performance using best practices.
* Propose upgrades and updates to maintain modern security standards and contemporary development practices.
* Contribute to shared component libraries and build modular, reusable components and libraries.
* Provide mentorship to junior team members and share knowledge across the wider team.
* This role involves working for government clients, so candidates need to hold SC Clearance or be SC Eligible.
Qualifications
* Extensive background in front-end development with significant experience using React
* Experience with Redux or Zustand
* Experience with React Query
* Experience with Jest for unit testing
* Experience with Node.js
* Experience with TypeScript desirable
* Experience with Nest.js or Express.js desirable
* Experience with Svelte desirable
* Strong core front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
* Interest in working with emerging AI technologies
* SC Eligible
