Overview

Area Sales Manager role at Vistry Group in West London, based at the Ealing office and travel to sites across the region. You will work with sales teams across multiple sites to meet sales targets and objectives through effective management of people and activities in line with the Customer Journey. Motivate and support teams to perform to KPI targets. We value in-person collaboration but support flexible working where possible.

Responsibilities

* Train, motivate and lead on-site sales teams on sites within your responsibility to achieve agreed KPIs, including sales rates and 5* customer service.
* Ensure sales are negotiated to required rates, achieving maximum revenue with minimal incentives.
* Provide close supervision of progress of existing sales and part exchanges to achieve target exchanges and legal completions with monthly forecast visibility.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local market (new build and second-hand), make recommendations for marketing improvements to drive enquiries.
* Oversee the marketing suites operation, including H&S, site presentation and staffing.
* Provide market research information to agree sales volume and prices.
* Plan plot releases with other departments to ensure optimum mix and unit availability; address customer/plot issues promptly.
* Attend internal and external meetings and complete relevant reports.
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to optimise service, growth and satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with H&S and mandatory training across the team; observe Vistry SOPs and H&S policies.
* Support continuous delivery of excellent customer service by upholding the customer journey and exceeding expectations.
* Demonstrate ICQ values (Integrity, Caring, Quality) and assist with audits as required.


Qualifications & experience

* Behave in line with company values – Integrity, Caring and Quality.
* Previous experience in sales management for a volume house builder.
* Experience of managing a team and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
* Excellent IT skills and MS Office proficiency.
* Good understanding of the sales and legal process; strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Able to produce accurate work in a high-paced environment; strong business and commercial awareness.
* Full UK Driving Licence with willingness to travel to all marketing suites and regional office within the division.
* Effective communication at all levels; ability to work as part of a team and independently; confident with challenging customers.
* Maintain effective communication between Sales Management and Sales Consultants.
* Willing to work weekends as required by the business.


Desirable

* Level 3/4 Customer Service or Sales qualification
* 5 GCSEs / GCE including Mathematics and English (C grade or above)
