This role will focus on planning efficient deliveries, managing subcontractor logistics, and handling key administrative tasks related to vehicle management, fleet planning, and cost control. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure customer and operational requirements are consistently met.
About the role:
As the Logistics Planner, your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements, prioritising internal fleet.
* Maximise load efficiency and reduce costs using in-house planning systems.
* Manage fleet-related documentation, including vehicle checks, fuel usage, and timesheets.
* Liaise with subcontractors, manage their invoicing, and support accurate reconciliation.
* Coordinate returns between sites and arrange hotel bookings for fleet drivers.
* Monitor and record vehicle mileage and assist with fleet maintenance planning.
* Ensure accurate delivery of products and accessories, including direct-to-customer orders.
* Support the business in improving logistics efficiency and maintaining service excellence.
