We are looking for a Sub Agent to join our Infrastructure team on the M42 in Birmingham.
What you'll do:
* Management and delivery of project activities relating to the handover of assets, including activities required to transfer new roads into operation and return temporary land to owners.
* Drive the completion of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) and Defects in a timely Manner.
* Prevent defective work being produced by offering guidance and training to delivery team including sub-contractors where applicable.
* Ensure site processes for quality and assurance are fit for purpose and being adhered to within the project team.
* Co-ordinate the production of final Handover DOWLS list of outstanding snags and works identified from with National Highways/Local Authority/other Stakeholders. Ensure these are communicated to the delivery team.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
* Knowledge and experience of Highway Works highly preferred.
* At or near Chartered Engineer level preferred
* Good written and verbal communications skills.
* Digital competence (MS Office 365, document Control Systems, Site Digital Tools).
