What does a Bank Support Worker do?:
Bank Support Workers must provide the highest standard of support at all times, meeting the needs of people we support as recorded in their care plan.
As a Support Worker you would have a varied role, supporting individuals with a range of disabilities. You would be responsible for:
* Encouraging independence
* Supporting people to participate in hobbies, activities and the community
* Supporting people to manage their health needs and liaising with health professionals.
* Supporting people to manage their own homes.
* Developing the life skills of the people we support
* Assisting with personal finances
* Support with personal hygiene
* Supporting with medication
* Providing advice and problem solving when required.
Hours:
Hours will vary, and bank employees work on a zero hour basis.
We are looking for full time and part time candidates at present.
Flexibility is advantageous!
Location:
We currently work in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Northumberland, with vacancies across these locations.
