Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations, restorations, and new constructions. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. Must have own tools and transport.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
* Estimate materials needed for each job and manage inventory effectively.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the painting process.
* Perform filling and caulking to ensure smooth surfaces before painting.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects on time.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on construction sites.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
* Experience in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial painting projects.
