We’re looking for a proactive and organised Marketing and Communications Executive as we embark on an exciting journey to digitalise and automate our marketing approach.
This is a hands-on role for a marketing all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, manage customer communications, and help bring our brand, and our customers brands, to life across digital and traditional channels.
Salary: £23,500 to £28,000
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Head Office in Bury, Greater Manchester

Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver effective, brand-aligned marketing and communications tailored to CBS’s audiences, products, and benefits.
* Write, edit, and proofread content with 100% accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Coordinate materials using our online studio management system, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
* Support digital-first initiatives, ensuring all digital assets are trackable for performance analysis.
* Action client amends using PowerPoint, WordPress (Elementor), and D365 (Microsoft email platform).
* Use D365 Marketing to segment audiences and execute targeted campaigns, supporting marketing automation and CRM improvements.
* Manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities.
* Assist in planning and delivering marketing materials for customer events.
* Foster seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
* Respond to ad hoc marketing requests and proactively suggest improvements or new materials.
* Work closely with the marketing team to understand systems and follow established processes.
* Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and flexible approach.
* Bring fresh ideas and insights to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive engagement.
* Align marketing efforts with business objectives, identifying opportunities to add value.
Qualifications:
Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) with marketing, business or English qualification.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:
* Highly organised, able to prioritise and multi-task. Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
* Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail, literacy, and thoroughness. Pride to deliver every task to a high standard.
* Experience briefing, managing, and delivering marketing and communication campaigns; ideally with B2B experience.
* Positive, personable, and confident.
* Can take accountability and manage tasks through to completion.
* Great team player, able to build strong working relationships.
* Practical understanding and previous experience of using marketing /CRM software.
* Experience or interest in marketing/ role of a similar capacity.
* Ability to work in line with CBS core values of pride, integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and enjoyment.
* Committed to work within our customer centricity values.
* Proficient on Microsoft Teams and Outlook email; respond to queries, attend meetings, manage notifications.
* Able to work effectively in hybrid team/environment.
