Purpose of the Job
This role assists with records management by identifying, sorting, preparing, and securely destroying archived records in a warehouse. Duties include handling boxes, verifying data, and following strict security protocols.
Main Responsibilities
Records Identification & Sorting
* Sort records for retention, review, or destruction.
Preparation for Destruction
* Batch approved boxes for destruction.
Documentation & Tracking
* Update disposal records.
* Report discrepancies to Project Lead.
General Support
* Reorganise storage after clearance.
* Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Able to perform manual tasks like lifting, moving, and stacking boxes.
* Pays close attention to detail when checking labels and numbers and has basic data entry or record logging experience.
* Follows instructions and security protocols.
* Reliable, punctual, and works well in warehouse settings.
* Experience in records management, archiving, warehouse operations, or facilities maintenance is a plus.
* Works well with others, positive, and proactive.
