We’re searching for capable Programme Manager to deliver Enterprise Projects across the business. This is a leadership role within Raytheon UK’s Enterprise Performance Group, responsible for the cradle to grave management of a portfolio of strategic programmes and tactical projects delivering safety-, business- and mission-critical capability for Raytheon UK, many of which are delivered in collaboration with Corporate improvement programmes and / or third party suppliers.
Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Performance Group (EPG), you will be a key member of the EPG Leadership Team and a strategic partner with Engineering, Digital Technology, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and other functions that will provide the resources for or will be recipients of your project deliverables. You will ensure that projects follow the methodologies outlined in the Raytheon Enterprise Project Management system (REPM) to ensure successful delivery of enterprise programmes and projects throughout their full life-cycle from concept through to entry-into-service. You will also act as a subject matter expert for REPM to guide projects that you are not responsible not delivering yourself.
Responsibilities
Deliver enterprise programmes and projects across Raytheon UK, on time, cost and quality, ensuring achievement of the business strategy and requirements, following the Raytheon Enterprise Project Management (REPM) system.
Provide hands-on programme and project delivery services for enterprise projects across RUK
Lead regular execution effectiveness evaluations of enterprise projects not actively managed by this role.
Maintain the overall enterprise project plan in partnership with Business, Mission Area and functional stakeholders, including:
Strategic resource planning and workload management
Team member selection and training
Return on Investment analysis
Plan endorsement and approval
Ongoing plan maintenance and review
Create and / or approve Basis of Estimates for enterprise project proposals and EACs
Act as RUK REPM authority and represent RUK with internal and corporate stakeholders.
Deliver regular enterprise project status updates to senior leadership.
Mentor other enterprise project PMs and foster a culture of continuous improvement and process maturity.
Qualifications You Must Have
Proven programme and project management and delivery methodologies.
Broad project delivery experience across Systems, Software, Products and Services.
Demonstrated ability to manage programmes and projects in matrixed environments and build high-performing teams.
Project finance acumen with experience managing budgets across multiple programmes and projects.
Strategic and tactical thinker with an energetic approach to problem solving and decision-making.
Highly dependable, autonomous, and delivery-driven.
Eligible for SC clearance.
Experience in defence sector.
Strong stakeholder relationships within a matrixed organisation.
