Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to achieve sales & market share objectives through the sales & clinical support of medical devices.
Supporting a portfolio of great surgical products, this role requires a high level of motivation and a passion for excellence in service.

Products:
You will be responsible for working with a range of medical devices used in general surgery, as well as more specialist procedures, and you will work across various of the hospital.
Customers:
Customers include consultants, surgeons, theatre managers, key surgical staff, along with the purchasing and procurement departments within both the NHS and private sector.

£Very Competitive
(Dependant on background and experience) + 20% Bonus + car + fuel card, pension, healthcare, holiday etc
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* You will identify opportunities to position the companies medical devices/products within the treatment pathway and develop the business
* Covering the North of England, with a lot of work focused in the Manchester / Leeds areas
* Build strong relationships with customers by following up on trials requests and maximising sales opportunities
* Generates and pursues leads to achieve department sales targets
* Lead clinical evaluation at sites across the territory, in both NHS and private hospitals
* Provide formal presentations for customers and potential customers
* Support customers regarding clinical or usability questions relation of the therapy.
* Monitor proper application and utilization of the therapy with treatments.
* Educates the health care team on product use, application, and documentation needs.
* Work closely with clinical specialist of the manufacturer
* Participate and represent company at marketing and sales events such as trade shows, conferences and meetings; prepare associated reports and presentations.
* Maintain CRM system in order to capture all relevant customer information to support sequential selling
* Provide product feedback from the field to R&D and the development of products
* Role Requirements:
* Please apply if you have experience as a medical devices BDM OR Clinical Specialist OR Physician associate looking to break into the commercial medical devices arena
* You must have experience in surgical settings, be in from a clinical role or from time in commercial role, but theatre experience is vital
* Nursing/technician experience an advantage
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Customer focused with strong influencing skills
* Good administrative and IT/computing skills
* Commercially aware, with an ability to manage multiple complex business scenarios
* Well organised, self-motivated team player
* Full driving licence is essential
* You must live in the Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool or wider surrounding area (or be willing to relocate at your own expense)
