A market leading proprietary trading firm are looking to onboard an experienced Desk Strat to their Equity Derivatives quant team. It'??s a super exciting time to join as a senior member of this team as there is huge potential for growth. In the role you will be required to remain very hands on, building trading tools, apps for traders and implementing trading models and strategies, as well as being required to manage and grow out the team.
Experience managing junior quants and developers in a front office environment is essential and a keen interest in building out and managing a large team is key. The desk trade predominantly Equity Derivative instruments but experience working in multiple asset classes would be beneficial.
Key Skills
* Strong programming skills in any OOP language, preferably in python or java
* Well versed in equity derivatives and other option products
* Hands on experience supporting traders ideally in a market making environment.
Desirable Skills
* Leadership skills - demonstrating the ability to manage a team of developers in a trading environment.
* An understanding of designing and building out options making systems at scale.
