Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher Location: M28 Start Date: Immediate Pay: £160–£210 per day Age Group: KS3/KS4 Contract: Full-Time About the Role: As an RE Teacher, you will plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in Religious Education. You will encourage students to explore world religions, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical ideas. You’ll support students who need extra help in understanding key concepts and developing critical thinking skills. Provide feedback to students and parents through meetings and reports. Contribute to the wider school community through staff meetings, enrichment activities, and CPD. Key Responsibilities: Deliver inclusive, high-quality lessons in RE for KS3 and KS4. Offer targeted support through one-to-one and small group sessions. Assess and monitor progress, using data to inform planning and intervention. Create a classroom environment that promotes mutual respect, curiosity, and open dialogue. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and pastoral care. What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a relevant degree in Religious Education or a related field. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching RE. Classroom or tutoring experience is desirable. A positive, reflective attitude and commitment to student progress.
