Description The role of a Senior Quantity Surveyor is to manage all assigned commercial activities within the project environment. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved with all aspects of the project lifecycle, seeking to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money whilst achieving the required standards and quality in accordance with contract and Customer’s and/or Contract Leader expectations. The role will focus on post Contract management of Main Civils Framework Package awarded on NEC 4 terms. LI-MF1 Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Overall NEC 4 Contract Management utilising CEMAR for administration Application assessment & agreement Forecasting & Variance reporting Auditing & verification of Defined Cost Change Management NEC Process Management of Extra Scope & Budget verification Involvement in Monthly Cost & Value Reporting Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential: Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen. Desirable: A creative and innovative approach to problem solving. Extensive Civils Experience on NEC forms Main Contracting Background CEMAR experience Qualifications Essential: Holds an RICS / CICES accredited degree Desirable: Senior Quantity Surveyors will hold or be nearing completion of Full Membership with RICS / CIEC
