Facilities Co-ordinator
* Location: Salford Quays, Greater Manchester
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: £27,500.
* Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage expenses reimbursed).
Join a leading commercial property management company as a Facilities Co-ordinator. This role is based in Salford Quays and involves regular travel across Greater Manchester and the Northwest. You will be instrumental in coordinating maintenance, inspections, compliance and credit control tasks, making this an ideal position for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who is looking for career growth in a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in managing day-to-day operations across the property portfolio.
* Address reactive maintenance issues, ensuring effective resolution and communication with tenants and contractors.
* Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
* Coordinate contractor visits and manage scheduled or emergency maintenance works.
* Support credit control processes and maintain property compliance records.
* Engage in out-of-hours or weekend work when necessary, with overtime compensation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Comfortable with regular travel across Greater Manchester and the North West.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Proficient in using systems to log, track, and report tasks.
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends (overtime paid).
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience in commercial property or facilities management helpdesk roles is preferred but not essential.
* Experience in customer facing roles
* Highly organised individual with a self-starter attitude.
