Workshop Controller
Utilising your exceptional upselling and communication skills with your knowledge of the motor trade to drive success through the workshop, you will work with the Technicians to achieve targets and customer satisfaction as priority.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Contract type: Permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, Saturday on Rota 8.30am -12.30pm

Key responsibilities as a Workshop Controller:
9. Control the work volume from retail through to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the Workshop.
10. Ensure all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resources of your team.
11. Sell additional products, services and repair work in a professional manner.
12. You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.
13. Ensure workshop targets are being considered whilst customer satisfaction is priority.
Required skills as a Workshop Controller:
14. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a commitment to providing the best possible standard of customer service.
15. NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent in a relevant field.
16. Knowledge and understanding of working within the motor trade.
17. Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
18. An enthusiastic, dynamic and team player.
19. Willingness to learn, develop and keep up to date with new technical product information.
20. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
