As a Project Officer Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in Associate Project Manager, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the project team to support in the design, build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Help the Project Manager by being the point of contact on certain projects, ensuring smooth communication among clients, designers, builders, and other workers for project success.
* Learn how to run projects to high standards by managing money, timelines, and schedules, while also ensuring safety, environmental responsibility, and quality.
* Take part in every stage of a project, from early planning through building to final handover.
* Look for smarter, cheaper, or faster ways to design and build without compromising quality, and track any changes that happen.
* Help spot problems or risks early and alert the right people before issues become larger.
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
* Willingness to learn
* Self‑motivated, punctual, and organized; Disability Confident
