Position Summary
This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC. The Accounting Analyst supports daily finance operations, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Collaboration: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, resolve queries, reconcile statements, and process payments. Prepare mid-month and end-of-month payment proposals.
3. Accounts Receivable: Handle customer setup, invoicing, resolve queries, manage statements, and collect payments.
4. Treasury: Administer payments, record bank entries, reconcile bank statements, manage general ledger entries, and perform account reconciliations.
5. Additional Support: Assist with credit card and expense reporting, ERP system upgrades, audit documentation, and ensure safety regulations compliance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* College or university degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Understanding of current processes and ability to articulate them.
* Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
* Ability to work under pressure, in a team, with a positive attitude, and attention to detail.
Equipment & Environment
Must have a computer with MS Office and D365. The role involves working in a high-pressure environment, possibly requiring travel, long hours, and physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and working around machinery and hazardous materials, all in compliance with safety policies.
